American hardcore punk band Knocked Loose stormed into Columbus, Ohio and pummeled the stage at The Anthenaeum Sunday night during their sold out show. The crowd turned the floor of the venue into a sizable mosh pit which had plenty of action.
Knocked Loose, formed in Oldham County, Kentucky in 2013, is Bryan Garris (lead vocals), Isaac Hale (lead guitar, back vocals), Kevin Otten (bass), Nicko Caldren (rhythm guitar) and Kevin Kaine (drums).
The band signed with Pure Noise Records in 2016 and released studio LPs Laugh Tracks and A Different Shade Of Blue (2019), plus EPs Mistakes Like Fractures and A Tear in the Fabric of Life (2021). This band continues to define the future of hardcore with no let up in sight!
The show featured over 15 tunes from the Knocked Loose catalog including ” God Knows”, “Billy No Mates”, “Denied By Fate”, “Deadringer” (!!!) “Return To Passion” and the amazing “Mistakes Like Fractures” which was near the end of the set. The crowd went absolutely full-on rage in the pit with a lot of crowd surfing and horns up in appreciation. Great show, visuals and aggressive energy on stage!
