John Legend Soothes Toronto with his Soul

R&B star John Legend played the Budweiser Stage in Toronto Saturday night and left the entire crowd swooning with his docile tones. Newcomer Gallant opened the show with an impressive range of vocals preceded by Legend rising up from the stage on his piano like a phoenix from the ashes.

Surrounded by warm lighting and abstract imagery, Legend and his crew held the audience captivated with songs old and new, including, ‘I know Better’, ‘Penthouse Floor’ and ‘Tonight’ (Best You Ever Had).
