Today, Republic Live announced internet sensation-turned rising country music star, Mason Ramsey, as well as Canadian artists Jason McCoy and The Redhill Valleys will join the lineup for the inaugural Big Sky Music Festival on July 20th. Taking fans back to the classics, the festival, held at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, showcases the exciting acts announced today, in addition to the previously announced country music legends AlabamaTravis Tritt and Diamond Rio.

“All of these artists represent the distinct sound of traditional country music, that’s what Big Sky Music Festival is all about,” said Lisa Zechmeister, Director of Booking and Development. “While each of them have their own unique take on the genre, what they have in common hearkens back to a time of purposeful lyrics, impressive vocals and harmonies, and true musicianship.”

While Mason Ramsey is new to the Burl’s Creek stage, he is no stranger to country music, singing some of the most well-known classic country songs to date. In just a year, Ramsey has also released a hit single and become the youngest country artist to sign with a major record label in a generation.

Big Sky Music Festival will also bring homegrown talent back to the stage at Burl’s Creek. Jason McCoy, a Barrie-native, award-winning country music artist, and five-time Juno nominee is a familiar face to Barrie’s country music scene, previously performing with The Road Hammers at Burl’s Creek in 2015. Rounding out the lineup, The Redhill Valleys, from Hamilton, Ontario, competed in the highly-competitive Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase in 2017 and returned to perform the following year at the award-winning Boots and Hearts Music Festival produced by Republic Live.

Fans can expect a full day of fun including a classic car show that will showcase over 100 vintage cars, a craft marketplace filled with locally made fashion, accessories, and homemade crafts, and a curated selection of food and drink vendors for the whole family to enjoy.

On-site camping, and reserved hydro and reserved non-hydro RV campsites will be available both Friday and Saturday, offering RV rental options through RVezy, Canada’s #1 RV rental community, with delivery right to your site. A pig roast will also be hosted the Friday evening, available exclusively to camping guests.
