Eric Church announced the dates on his 2017 tour this morning! His North American 60+ city run, the aptly titled Holdin’ My Own Tour, will officially launch on Jan. 13, 2017 at Lincoln, Nebraska’s Pinnacle Bank Arena and will conclude with two nights at Nashville, Tennessee’s Bridgestone Arena in May. For the first time ever, there will be no support act on this tour. Eric and the ECB will play two full sets of music with an intermission in between.
In an effort to ensure Church Choir members get the best seats at face value, they have developed a new system that will allow them to remove scalpers from the pre-sale process before it even happens. Furthermore, they have secured a larger allotment of fan club tickets than in the past so Church Choir members will have much better success buying tickets in the presale. This will be the ONLY pre-sale. There will be no venue, credit card, or radio pre-sales.
As on past tours, they will continue to cancel any and all orders made by scalpers. Eric cautions fans to stay away from the secondary market because it’s likely that tickets found there will be invalid by the time the show happens.
Why are they doing this? In this era where complacency seems to be the norm, they wanted to do everything within their power to put the advantage in the hands of true fans rather than those that take advantage of the system, and by extension they’re people.
To participate in the pre-sale you must be a standard or premium fan club member. Registration is open from Aug. 9 until Aug. 23 at 11:59pm CT,
After this process, you will get a text message with a link and a unique code sent to your phone the morning of the pre-sale on September 9th at 10:50am CT. You will then have 3 days to make your ticket purchase. The best seats will always go first, but since we are opening up much more inventory our Church Choir members will have a better chance at purchasing tickets than ever before.
Pre-sale begins on Sept. 9 at 11am CT and ends on Sept. 11 at 11:59pm CT
