Dawn Tyler Watson Plays Montreal Jazz Festivals Blues Night

As a blues fan, catching eye to eye with our Blues Night artist, Juno Award recipient Dawn Tyler Watson, and her seven-piece band at Le Balcon in downtown Montreal was a magical experience. Dawn lit up the dark room for the Montreal Jazz Festival, happening between June 27 and July 6, 2024.

Dawn is an incredible individual who greeted us warmly and engaged with fans throughout the evening. Her personality is beyond delightful and it’s evident in her music. Her mix of storytelling and insightful songwriting, paired with powerhouse vocals, brought everything from moving love songs to powerful blues tunes to another level. It was wonderful to hear her sing her heart out and you could tell she truly enjoys what she does. Her passion for her career is beautiful.

Throughout the night, Dawn interacted with fans, making sure everyone felt seen. Her hit songs were especially delightful to listen to, enhanced by the perfect blues lighting that made us feel included. Meals and drinks were served, adding to the overall enjoyment of the night.

We couldn’t have asked for a better evening of music, food, and drinks.
