People were anxious to see Dallas Smith in Guelph. Fans lined up in the cold an hour before the doors opened. Want to avoid the line up? The VIP experience gets you in to see the sound check, a Meet & Greet, commemorative tour laminate and priority access to the merch table. You can check out all the details here.
I wanted to take a minute and say what a beautiful venue this is. The sound was great, I love the old school feel, the balcony and the staff were spot on. It was a pleasure spending time here.
Fighting our way back to the front of the stage after taking our contest winners, Travis and Emily back to the green room to meet with Sundy Best was a challenge. The packed room was tough to navigate but we managed to get right back into our places at the front. You could feel the energy, the excitement, the anticipation.
And then Dallas hit the stage and he was on. Full energy, back and forth across the stage. The music was perfect and the audience loved it.
Thanks to Charlotte at Red Umbrella PR for making sure we had our tickets for last night’s show.
Someone has mastered the “selfie with a fan”. The man is a pro!
He sang old songs, he sang new songs, he sang some covers. It felt like he sang it all.
And we had a special guest visitor, 2014 Canadian Country Music Association, Female Artist of the Year, Jess Moskaluke! It was a lovely surprise. Jess has a new album out – the Light Up The Night album.
