Hard to believe we are only 4.5 months away from the Canadian Country Music Association Awards show in London, Ontario. But hold your horses, They have so much more coming to London before we can even talk about September.
Let’s just say that London has turned into the place to be this summer if you are a boot scootin’ , plaid wearin’ country lovin’ fan. With things kicking off early. Jason Aldean is set to light up Bud Gardens one of the nicest large scale venues in Ontario on May 14th. Jason brings along Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses. Then just as May finishes off, Carrie Underwood and her Storytellers Tour pulls into town along with Easton Corbin & The Swon Brothers. The reviews on this show have been outstanding and no surprise that both that the Aldean & Underwood shows are currently sold out.
June seems to have a bit of a lull but really that’s ok. Likely because the folks will appreciate the time to save up for the BIG Canada Day Weekend party. With the likes of Florida Georgia Line, Chris Young, Randy Hauser, Cole Swindell, Brett Kissel, Kane Brown, Jess Moskaluke along with so many more gracing the stage over 2 days July 1st & 2nd at Western Fair Grounds. If you don’t have your tickets for the event yet be sure click HERE and secure your Canada Day weekend plans now before they are gone.
then ya have a weekend to recoup from that party and sail on into Gone Country 3. Taking place downtown London July 13th & 14th. This year they sure were able to solidify yet another solid 2 days of country music with Brad Paisley, Jake Owen, Dallas Smith, Tim Hicks, High Valley, Old Dominion, Autumn Hill & River Town Saints. And if you are wondering where you can get those tickets. Don’t look any further just click HERE.
How is that for a pretty great summer of Country Music in the beautiful city of London? Oh, we ain’t done.
Sept 1st & 2nd Billy Currington will be heading to one of my absolute favourite venues I have ever been to. with a killer sound system and sold light show The London Music Hall really is a fantastic setting for that 800-1500 crowd and we can’t wait to see Billy rock that stage. Then… Yup one last event (that we know about) But this one is a dandy. The CCMA’s roll into town on September 5th to kick off Country Music Week. And we are so pumped that it’s in our backyard this year. This is the premier event in Canada for Country Music and we can’t wait to be in the thick of it come September. With all the biggest names in Canadian Country Music coming to one heck of a party town to boot. Hold My Beer, this could get rowdy… But in a good kinda way. With venues like Cowboys and Bull & Barrel getting ready to host the Canadian Country community with open arms and we are sure some amazing music will be played over the course of the week.
So if you live in London, be prepared for some Cowboys & Cowgirls to invade the city for a good portion of this summer. We know we will be at all the events in full force and can’t wait to spend some more time in one of Ontario’s most vibrant cities. #BuckleUp
