CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI – Today, the Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell is pleased to announce 34-time ACM Award, 13-time CMA and 2-time GRAMMY Award-winner and celebrated singer/songwriter Miranda Lambert and recent GRAMMY, Billboard, CMA, ACM, CMT, and Teen Choice Award-winning chart-toppers Dan + Shay as the first two headliners for the 2020 festival. Lambert will hit the Bell main stage on Friday, July 10, while Dan + Shay will close out Atlantic Canada’s largest multi-day outdoor music festival on Sunday, July 12. Cavendish Beach Music Festival will run from July 10 – July 12, 2020.

Lambert, the most decorated artist in the history of the Academy of Country Music, has released six studio albums that all debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Album Charts, including the critically acclaimed double record The Weight of These Wings (2016), Platinum (2014), Four The Record(2011), Revolution (2009), Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2007) and Kerosene (2005). In addition, she released three albums with her trio, the Pistol Annies.
With six No. 1 hits, six Platinum singles, and over two billion on-demand career streams, Dan + Shay have already sold out headlining US & UK tours in 2019, where they performed their most recent chart-topper, “All To Myself,” their 2x-Platinum, multi-week No. 1 single “Speechless”, and the most-streamed song released in 2018, multi-Platinum, multi-week No.1 global smash, “Tequila.” All three are featured on Dan + Shay, which has sold more than one million album equivalents and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. Their catalogue comprises three albums, including Where It All Began, Obsessed, and Dan + Shay.
