This evening, the below letter was sent to the Canadian Minister of Finance as well as Ministers of Heritage, Economic Development,Tourism, Innovation, Science and Industry and Middle Class Prosperity.
This will not be an easy letter to read. But it was a necessary one to write and share.

As the news continues to breaks with Covid 19, so many things are coming to an immediate stop, including our music industry.
The Day the Music Died
Let’s talk about the last 24 hours for a minute. Yesterday morning I came to work, as I do every day. For the most part I was expecting a relatively normal day knowing that by the late afternoon our coverage of events at the JUNO Awards in Saskatoon would be needing my attention. But at 9:30am something happened that would lead to the largest cascading cancellation event I have ever experienced in all my years in this industry.

Tears and Cheers Flowed at the Station as Brett Kissel Hosts Benefit Concert in Edmonton
It was an emotional event at The Station in Edmonton last night as Brett Kissel hosted a benefit concert for the Community Foundation of Middle Nashville. Money from the tornado response fund is awarded to organizations that apply for tornado relief grants to address needs spanning from emergency shelter, food and clean-up to mortgage, rental and rebuilding assistance, legal and mental health counseling, and more.
The Killers announce new album and world tour!
THE KILLERS are thrilled to share the details of their forthcoming, highly-anticipated sixth studio album, Imploding The Mirage, which is set for release on May 29, 2020 on Island Records. The album – produced by the band in conjunction with Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado of Foxygen – was recorded in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Park City, UT. It is the first Killers album to be written and recorded since leaving their hometown of Las Vegas, NV. Imploding The Mirage also features a brilliant array of collaborators, another first for the band who have typically kept guest spots on their albums to a minimum.
