Lights Brings Baby I’m Back Tour to The Newport Music Hall
Lights is an award-winning Canadian musician, singer and songwriter with a die-hard fanbase who came out on a Monday night to see her show in Columbus Ohio.
It is stunning that the show even came to be considering Lights broke her foot 2 days earlier jumping off the stage at her show in Boston. Most would cancel and recuperate on crutches while sending out apologies on Twitter with sad-face emojis, but not Lights. Hell no, the show must go on!
She is one tough woman to put on an hour + show in spite of that injury. But she took it all in stride, moving about the stage with ease while occasionally kicking that foot out in defiance. She even decorated the brace with colorful stripes for fun! Amazing.
