When Shania Twain rolled through North America a few years ago we thought that it would be her last tour. When the queen of Canadian country music released new music this spring and summer with promise of a new album to be released this fall fans across the globe were hopeful that she would tour again. This morning those hopes were confirmed as Shania Twain announced a massive North American tour with plenty of Canadian stops.

Canadian rockers One Bad Son took to Facebook this morning to announce that they’ll be hitting the road this fall for a Canadian tour in support of their new album Made in The Name of Rock N’ Roll, which comes out this October.

The first day of the Navan fair had everyone on their feet and rocking right along to music from Alex Ryder and Honeymoon Suite!

Rock icons KISS are embarking on their third leg of The KISSWORLD 2017 tour, with the only Canadian show at the Casino Rama Resort in Orillia, Ontario on August 18, 2017.  The tour will mark the return of the “Creatures of the Night” costumes, first seen on the 6th annual KISS Kruise.

Catching a World Wrestling Entertainment live event is sort of unlike any other type of live event in the world. Between dramatic entrances, sometimes scary masks, blaring music, colourful costumes, and unbelievable athleticism right in front of your eyes, professional wrestling can sort of sweep you up in it’s very unique universal of branded entertainment. And when the WWE comes to town specifically, it’s above and beyond any other form of pro wrestling in terms of production value and energy. I was lucky enough to witness this firsthand on Monday night, when the WWE Summerslam Heatwave Tour invaded Kingston’s K-Rock Centre.

I have to start this review by being straight and letting you, the reader, know that prior to today, I had never heard of London Grammar. That is probably because by the time they became sort of popular, I had already left the UK a few year back.

Outdoor festivals are hands down my favourite way to experience music. It doesn’t matter the genre, when you have the right crowd at a well organized event magic happens. And that magic happened in spades at the Max Bell Centre in Calgary Friday night. Beautiful weather all day made a stellar line-up of artists that much more enjoyable.

Folk on the Rocks is an incredible music festival that takes place in gorgeous Yellowknife. It has an amazing schedule spanning two full days and five stages. It is an incredible opportunity to discover new music and to visit another part of Canada’s beautiful landscape.

The final two days of Kemptville Live were full of amazing music from greats like Burton Cummings and Gordon Lightfoot.
