After months of preparation and anticipation the Grey Cup Festival has finally arrived in Ottawa. The Grey Cup itself will make its arrival in the city tomorrow and the main events will kick off starting Thursday. Here’s a rundown of what you can do for FREE over the next few days at the Grey Cup Festival.

James Keelaghan is a Canadian songwriter of the finest caliber.
My first experience listening to James was celtic styled folk tune, “Henry’s Downfall”. I positively expected he was from Canada’s East coast, but as it turns out, he originally hails from Calgary, Alberta.
Theory of a Deadman announces Canadian tour in the Spring 2018.
The BC rockers Theory of a Deadman have announced a fifteen date Canadian tour starting February 25th in Vancouver, and finishing May 13th in Halifax.
The band released their most recent album Wake Up Call in October, and are just finishing a headlining tour in the U.S.
The band is addressing issues related to prescription drugs on a music video for “Rx”.
“When I got divorced, I went and saw a therapist and the first thing she said was, ‘I want to put you on some Beta blockers or some sort of anti-depressant stuff’ and I’m like, ‘No! No Way! What? How is that the first thing you want to do?’” front man Tyler Connolly said in an interview with Billboard. “I just feel like something’s wrong and I felt like the song needed to be written and people needed to hear it,” he added.
“Wake Up Call” is Theory of a Deadman’s sixth studio album and a follow-up to 2014’s “Savages.” The band has had several radio hits, such as “Bad Girlfriend,” “Lowlife,” “So Happy” and “By the Way,” and “Angel” and “Drown” from the 2014 album.
Theory of a Deadman features Tyler Connolly (lead vocals, lead guitar), David Brenner (rhythm guitar), Dean Back (bass) and Joey Dandeneau (drums).

Talented, local Ottawa country singer/songwriter, Sandi Skye graced the stage at the John Street Pub in Arnprior last weekend and delivered a performance that will not soon be forgotten. The performance included a mix of her original songs and some classic gems from country hitmakers Johnny Cash to Shania Twain. The John St. Pub was the perfect setting and the crowd that was taking it all in.

The annual, four day touring festival Taste of Iceland arrived in Toronto on November 9-12th to highlight the best of Icelandic culture, and showcasing the Nordic nation’s cuisine, music, art, film and literature in free events around the city.
Brett Kissel Album Release *SNEAK PEEK*
Brett Kissel has FINALLY announced his much anticipated new album We Were That Song today which is currently in pre-sale for full release December 8. This album was creating it with the help of record label Warner Music, and had its release date pushed in order to put the time and energy into each detail. Following his performance at We Day Ottawa, we were lucky enough to be invited to listen to a few tracks on the album with Brett and an intimate audience, where he made it clear how much of himself went into this album describing it as a “labour of love.”
40 Years of Rock – Foreigner 40th Anniversary Tour
Celebrating 40 years of music Foreigner’s 40th Anniversary tour rolled into Budweiser Gardens Tuesday night. Now if anyone knows me at all they know I’m a 20 something and logistically that means that I wasn’t even alive when both Prism and Foreigner were in their prime, but I’m no stranger to both artists and let me tell you after a show like this I can fully appreciate why these two bands have had such long successful careers.
It’s a funeral of hearts for fans as HIM bids their farewells at Bang&Whimper tour in Toronto.
When Finnish love metal giants HIM announced earlier this year they would be calling it quits after 26 years, it was not really a surprise to many, but yet sad news for their loyal fans all over the world. The band soon announced a worldwide farewell tour Bang & Whimper, and luckily included its only Canadian stop in Toronto on Monday, November 13th.
