The Metal Tour of the Year stopped in Laval, and it really was the tour of the year
Tuesday night, Laval hosted what was dubbed the Metal Tour of the Year. This headbanging machine included Sweden’s In Flames, and US’s Trivium, Lamb of God and Megadeth. If you felt a shiver just now, you are not alone. These are all mighty big names in their own right; assembled, they are an unstoppable force.

Photo Review: Testament Brings The Bay Strikes Back Tour To Columbus, Ohio
Thrash Metal Giants Testament killed it at The Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio on Wednesday Night with plenty of help from Exodus and Death Angel!
The venue was packed all the way up into the balcony with plenty of moshing on the floor. Exodus even invited a young girl from the front row to come on stage and play for a bit on one of their guitars. The crowd, as anticipated, went wild!
All in all it was quite the shred fest with an all-ages crowd enjoying the concert by three great metal heavyweights.
The HU Sold Out Show At The Newport Music Hall
The Hu is a Mongolian folk rock/metal band formed in 2016 who call their style of music “hunnu rock” which features throat singing and traditional Mongolian instrumentation. They are currently on their Black Thunder Tour in the US and tickets are selling fast.
The show in Columbus, Ohio at The Newport Music Hall last night was sold out and probably could have been upgraded to Kemba Live! if it wasn’t for another rock show scheduled there.
