CANCELLED: Roxodus Music Fest Announces Billy Idol and Blondie Added to Legendary Festival Lineup
Today, Roxodus Music Fest announced that punk pioneer and global superstar Billy Idol, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Blondie,have been added to the star-studded festival lineup. Both Idol and Blondie will hit the stage alongside Kid Rock, Nickelback, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alice Cooper, Peter Frampton, and Cheap Trick during the three-day concert series running July 11-13, 2019.
Godsmack and Volbeat coming to Canada
This morning, the Grammy nominated Danish band Volbeat confirmed 17 new tour dates with Godsmack throughout the U.S. and Canada in April and May of 2019. The tour will kick off with a string of dates in the U.S. as special guests to Godsmack before the pair embarks on a cross-country co-headline tour of Canada.

Grey Cup Outdoor Concerts heat up a cold night
Only die hard Canadians would have what equivocates to an outdoor music festival in below freezing weather, With temperatures hovering around -10 with the windchill and dropping with the sun, it made for a pretty bundled up crowd … but they did still come!

OZZY OSBOURNE’s 2020 North American “NO MORE TOURS 2” has unfortunately been cancelled to allow OSBOURNE to continue to recover from various health issues he has faced over the past year. This decision was made to accommodate fans who’ve been holding tickets for rescheduled shows and have been asked to change plans, some multiple times. Following promotional obligations for his new ORDINARY MAN album (out February 21), OSBOURNE will head to Europe for additional treatments.
British Lion roars through the Ottawa valley
The Brass Monkey was bound to be packed as it hosted a sold out show to one of the world’s most iconic bass player’s, Steve Harris’ side project British Lion on Saturday night. I don’t think there’s question about which band he normally plays for as his name alone stands for itself, but if you’ve been hiding under a rock for thirty years, that band would be Iron Maiden.
