A “Rocking” Evening Had by All at CityFolk Day 3 as Headstones Rocks the Night Away
Day three at CityFolk Music Festival had the rock and roll fans up on their feet all night long and from the very first beat, set the incredible energy for the remainder of the evening. The lineup hosted very versatile styles of music, and contained something for everyone that was sure to leave fans going home stuck with a smile on their face.

Music and Media communities come together in support of Sean Sisk
Music and media go hand in hand. The talented ones make and perform the music while us media folks cover the music and use photos taken by our photographers and videographers to showcase it…well earlier this summer one of Ottawa’s favourite photographers, Sean Sisk, suddenly took ill right at the start of RBC Bluesfest. Since then he’s been in an Ottawa hospital ICU unable to work and unable to earn a living. Although his condition is improving daily his recovery is going to take time so it could be a while before Sean is fully recovered and able to earn a living again. Last night music and media once again joined forces at the Overflow Brewing Company, this time to shine a spotlight on one of our own and to remind us all of how fragile our lives can be.

Their hair is whiter, they may move a little bit slower but they sound as perfect as they did when they first exploded onto the music scene, and would change country music forever, over 50 years ago. It was clear that the cousins from Alabama still had that connection with fans and the fans with them as they took to the stage at Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa last night.
