It’s been 4 years, almost to the day, since Dean Brody last performed on the big stage at Canadian Tire Centre and this time he brought along a handful of friends most notably Dallas Smith.

Saturday night, the third night of Lansdowne’s CityFolk Festival, brought a wide variety of acts sure to please lovers of all variations of folk music. Musicians and concert-goers young and old showed up to the festival, sharing an experience clearly capable of transcending generations.

This past Thursday, Orville Peck, The Once, Lucinda Williams, Larkin Poe and The Strumbellas fired up day one of Ottawa’s 25th City Folk Festival.
