The Ottawa Music Industry Coalition (OMIC) is excited to announce the launch of City Sounds – a series of 24 FREE musical performances across multiple locations in Ottawa! Starting Friday, August 20, 2021, and running for three consecutive weekends, OMIC in partnership with numerous Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) and local business associations will bring some of Ottawa’s top musical performers to public spaces across the city from Orléans to Kanata! Reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Eric Church has his sights set on a return to the road. Making the most of the long-awaited opportunity to “gather again,” for the first time in his career Church will adopt an in-the-round set up, with the stage at the center of each arena floor in order to accommodate as many fans as possible. Tickets to all Canadian dates go on sale to the general public Friday, June 25 at 10 a.m. local time at www.EricChurch.com. Church Choir members may access tickets early via pre-sale on Tuesday, June 22 at 10 a.m. local time.

Trixstar is pleased to launch Canada’s first dedicated socially distanced concert venue this summer. The Together Again Outdoor Concert Series is set to take place at the historic Racetrack Infield on the Edmonton Exhibition Lands (formerly Northlands Park). Winners announced for The 50th Annual JUNO Awards, highlighting Canada’s important musical achievements. The Weeknd sweeps the JUNOS taking home five awards.
