Well, for starters, the two have a partnership that seems tightly fastened together for life with needle, thread, some welding, a smattering of duct-tape and a bit of super glue for good measure. Oh yeah, and blood. They’re sisters.
Ottawa’s Jazzer Endurance Course is Back for Another 24-Hour Jazz Ramble

To some, the greatest test of endurance is the Cape Epic, a gruelling eight day, 70 km trek through South Africa that’s referred to as the Tour de France of mountain biking. Then there’s Badwater, a non-stop 135-mile run through some of the most scorching hot places on the planet. Racers have to brave the heat through Death Valley as they battle the elements, dehydration and sometimes even delirium. Yikes! Then, for the truly insane, there’s the Marathon des Sable. You know, just your typical 150 mile race…through the Sahara!
POUZZA FEST 2018: Welcoming Spring with Montreal’s Punk Festival
Ah May in Montreal.. the sun is out, the birds are singing, and the sounds of punk music fill the streets downtown. Pouzza Fest in Montreal marks the unofficial start to festival season with over 175 bands performing different venues all weekend long. Kick off each day started early with punk yoga and meditation, and went until the other early, with secret shows starting as late/early as 2am.
2018 East Coast Music Awards & Festival Highlights Talent to Watch
The 2018 East Coast Music Awards brought together the finest musicians the East Coast has to offer. Many faces recognized across the country, others perhaps not as familiar. All talented just the same. This years festival showcased much of that talent through nights of music at local venues, as well as showcasing within the awards show itself. The intimate feel of the event meant that artists were seen wandering other shows and spaces making them accessible to talk to, get to know, and hear about what’s coming up.

Rosie & the Riveters captivated the audience at the NAC on Wednesday night with an unforgettable experience. The energy in this intimate space was really powerful as all the eyes were on the three stunning women on stage with magical singing voices. An array of emotions were experiences as Rosie & the Riveters shared stories of their families, charitable work, and some of the inspirations behind their songs. Their songs were well delivered and really touched the audience, as they received a standing ovation when they left the stage near the end of the night.
