It was a great start to the day with the first full day of Ram Rodeo action in the rodeo ring. The stands were full and everyone had a blast. Weather was moving in for the evening but it didn’t seem to deter the fans that were busy streaming into the venue to get a spot close to the stage.
Tim Hicks brings the party back to Spencerville
It was the fall of 2014 we were approached by the folks at the Spencerville Stampede asking if we’d be interested in working with them on their 2015 entertainment lineup. Going into their 4th year this year the Stampede had always had a musical component but they wanted to raise the ante and bring some higher profile entertainment to the event.
WayHome Music and Arts Festival Day 1

A fantastic music filled, gorgeous Ontario day at the brand new Burl’s Creek Facility. If you were wondering if they could pull it off, they absolutely did.
Ottawa Bluesfest – Week in Review
It’s hard to believe that the event that I’ve been anticipating all year is already halfway through. It feels like just yesterday that the Full Flex Express rolled into town kicking off what would be an incredible 11 days of live entertainment along the Ottawa River. New to our coverage this year is the addition of Sean Sisk, our new resident event photographer extraordinaire in the Ottawa region. Sean’s incredible pictures will appear throughout my reviews and allow me to focus on the music and our social media coverage instead of trying to get the perfect shot.

Tragically Hip – Kickin’ it in Kitchener
Last night The Tragically Hip made a pit stop at the Kitchener Aud on their way back from 2 sold out nights in Kirkland Lake over the weekend. They are set to play a big Canada Day Extravaganza at Molson Amphitheatre on July 1st with a more carnival type setting before the concert. Might be kinda cool to check out. BUT.. On this night there were no rides, no cotton candy it was all about the music.
Shania Twain returns home, and proves she’s still the one!
It may have been over a decade since the reigning Queen of Canadian Country music has hit the road for a full tour but it definitely didn’t show. Coming off of a 2 year run at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas Shania kicked off her first tour earlier this month in Seattle, WA.

Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes and Sam Hunt at The Molson Canadian Amphitheatre
It’s been a while since I’ve been a “regular” concert goer. But last night that’s exactly what I was. Standing in line, crowded in with lawn seat crowd I was still a happy camper.
Sam Hunt was on stage when I took my “seat”. He played all of my favourites from “Montevello”. No surprises here but definitely no complaints. Nice banter with the crowd.
