Darius Rucker
We are going out on a limb and predicting that Darius Rucker will bring his Southern Style Tour to Boots and Hearts this August. Rucker’s fourth country solo album, ‘Southern Style,’ will be released on March 31, 2015. The disc’s first single, ‘Homegrown Honey,’ was released in September.

Word came out this morning that our friends over at Republic Live have added another BIG TIME event to the list of summer concerts this time it’s a Bonnaroo type spin off that is yet to be named.

The 159th Annual Spencerville Fair has arrived and they’ve got a weekend jam packed of activities and an entertainment lineup that is, once again, second to no other fair in Eastern Ontario. We recently published our interview with Tebey who makes up half of Saturday’s entertainment lineup along with Dallas Smith, today we shift our focus to the roots of popular music as we know it with the Devin Cuddy band.
Show business is nothing new to, 21 year old, MacKenzie Porter who grew up on a cattle and bison ranch near Medicine Hat,Alberta. At the ripe age of four she started studying piano, violin and voice. She’s spent time on the road touring with a family band as well as with her brother, whose name you might recognize as 2004 Canadian Idol Winner, Kalan Porter. But she doesn’t just stop there. MacKenzie is also an aspiring actress having numerous film and television roles under her belt including the role of Courtney in the Television series “Dinosapien”.
