Cavendish Beach Music Festival Organizers Announce Cavendish Beach Drive-In Concert Series
CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI – Today, the organizers of the Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell are pleased to announce the Cavendish Beach Drive-In Concert Series. The Drive-In Series will be PEI’s first and only live drive-in music event. The event will take place at the Cavendish Beach Festival and Events Centre where attendees will enjoy live performances from a full lineup of local artists live on stage from the comfort and safety of their cars. The series will take place over four weekends in July and August.

The Spencerville Fair has been a staple in Eastern Ontario for 165 years. When COVID hit fairs and festivals around the world were forced to cancel their events for 2020 but the board of directors at the Spencerville Fair weren’t willing to give up that easily.

This summer, a diverse range of emerging and established Canadian artists and bands—including Sam Roberts Band, Marie-Mai, Patrick Watson, and Tim Hicks—will perform live concerts at the Place des Festivals, Zibi site. People will be able to drive in and watch live performances from their vehicles, respecting distancing measures in place at that time.
