La programmation a donc pratiquement doublé; les spectateurs étaient ravis de l’ajout et les artistes ont été enchantés de l’accueil qu’ils ont reçu. Même la pluie s’est faite clémente pendant ces spectacles.

James Barker Band closed Festival Country Lotbinière in grand fashion
The sun finally greeted us when we awoke on Sunday morning, after being absent much of the weekend. Although not completely gone the mud started to dry up enough that you could walk on it without losing your leg…it was a good day for a music festival.
The Reklaws steal day two with an emotional, heart filled performance in Quebec
Rain, rain and more rain was the story of the day on Saturday at Festival Country Lotbinière. Of course much of the area near the front of the stage, including our media pit, had turned into mud by the end of the show on Friday…by yesterday it was more like quick sand that fed on an endless supply of shoes, boots and the occasional small child (just kidding no children were eaten by the mud monster at this festival). Did anyone care? No because the music made us all forget that we were slowly sinking up to our knees in mud.
Rain and mud did little to dampen the spirits of country fans in Quebec
We’re back to our regularly scheduled weekend less than a year since the last edition of Festival Country de Lotbinière and, once again, festival organizers were dealt with a forecast of rain and gloom…in other words…perfect weather for an all Canadian lineup for a country festival.
