The wildly popular Blue Jay Sessions that originated as an experiment at Calgary’s Oak Tree Tavern during the 2019 Stampede, later resurfaced during CCMA week dur to popular demand. It now seems to have become an event staple in Calgary given there’s another upcoming Valentine’s Day weekend session. Saskatoon’s The Sheepdogs to headline event benefiting MusiCounts
TORONTO – The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) today announced that tickets for a highly anticipated JUNO Week event, JUNO Kick-Off Concert Presented by CBC Sports, are now on sale. JUNO Award winners and Saskatoon’s own, The Sheepdogs, will headline the event along with a night of classic Canadian covers and collaborations with your favourite JUNO artists and players from JUNO Cup. Proceeds from the event support MusiCounts, Canada’s music education charity associated with CARAS and the JUNO Awards.
