Marvest is a musical harvest. It is an offshoot of CityFolk that runs September 15th and 16th, 2017 in The Glebe. Marvest shows are FREE! The focus of Marvest is to present Ottawa with a feast of locally produced music. Saturday afternoon shows in Bank Street venues will be family friendly. Marvest is all about bringing people together in appreciation of local music.

Midnight Shine shines on CityFolk stage in Ottawa debut
It was a beautiful late summer afternoon in Canada’s Capital, the great lawn at Lansdowne park was still soggy from the rain on Saturday but the crowds were starting to make their way down for the final day of CityFolk.
Blockbuster line-up announced for CityFolk
June 2, 2015, Ottawa, ON— CityFolk music festival organizers today announced the initial line-up for their 2015 program. Confirmed acts to date include: Van Morrison, The Avett Brothers, Wilco, Of Monsters and Men, Passenger, UB40, The Tubes, The Sheepdogs, Patrick Watson, Walk Off The Earth, Lord Huron, Elle King, Lisa LeBlanc, Lucinda Williams, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Amy Helm, Lucius, Lee Harvey Osmond, Steep Canyon Rangers, Built to Spill, The Barr Brothers, Wintersleep, Sun Kil Moon, Will Butler, Steve Poltz, Fortunate Ones, The Everyone Orchestra, Frank Fairfield & The Down Hill Strugglers, Terra Lightfoot, Scarlett Jane, and Charlie A’Court, with more to be announced in the weeks ahead.
