Whether you look at August as the turning point where summer begins it’s descent into fall August to us is a month that we look forward to every year because, of course, August is the month of one of our favourite country music festivals…Boots and Hearts. Yesterday a threat of rain passed and left in it’s wake conditions that would rival the talent on stage at the festival, HOT!

Warner Music Canada – home of Brett Kissel and Meghan Patrick, Canadian country music’s reigning Male and Female Vocalists of the Year as well as top charting artists The Washboard Union and Aaron Goodvin – are teaming up with Chevrolet and the Boots & Hearts Music Festival held annually in Oro-Medonte, Ontario to find Canada’s next Country Music Superstar.

Midland, LOCASH, James Barker Band, The Washboard Union, Lindsay Ell & more will join headliners Florida Georgia Line, Alan Jackson and Thomas Rhett

We knew that something was coming at some point today, we didn’t expect to see it this early in the morning but we did. I giant full page newspaper ad sent to us by a reader shows Florida Georgia Line, Alan Jackson and Thomas Rhett as the 2018 Boots and Hearts headliners.

After a false start last week we believe a major Boots and Hearts lineup announcement is imminent and can come as soon as tomorrow (Thursday) morning.

When it comes to new artists we discovered at Boots and Hearts this year we’d be hard pressed to find a group more fun and energetic than Nice Horse.

As winter is turning to spring there’s no doubt that summer is right around the corner and in just under 100 days the biggest party of the summer will kick off at Burl’s Creek with Boots and Hearts.
