Something amazing set up shop at London’s Budweiser Gardens on Monday night. Spanning the entire 200 feet of the arena floor, the stage was set, for what I would personally say, was the show of the year thus far in London.

We had a chance to sit down and chat with Nashville born and raised Country artist Tucker Beathard a couple weeks back to discuss his new music.   Tucker signed to Big Machine last year and it has been a whirlwind ever since.  Here is our chat.   And be sure to pick up Tucker’s 1st single ROCK ON Here.

I had a chance to chat with, in my personal opinion, one of the very best frontmen of any rock act in the 90’s and likely even to date in Canada.   Hugh Dillon was leader of the fist pumpin’, beer chuggin’ & hard rockin’ crowds in the 90’s right across Canada for the band, Headstones.  The band took a brief hiatus to regain some steam and hit the ground running for their second lap 5 or 6 years back.   If you don’t know who the Headstones are keep reading; you’re about to get educated.  And if you do, keep reading. Hugh gives one hell of a interview. As a general disclaimer, this is a conversation more than an interview, because Hugh is someone you talk with, not to. 

We had a chance to ask Yoan a few questions about what he has been up to since we last spoke and how life has changed over the last year or so. 

I always love going to songwriter events. They have such a great atmosphere and it is so relaxed and genuine. The Dakota Tavern has been host to the last few I have attended in the Four Chords And The Truth events. Now, Paquin Artists Agency is putting on their own, also at The Dakota. It’s a perfect venue for the ‘in the round’ performance. It isn’t a large space, so it is naturally quite intimate and everyone loves the stage setup with the lighting and decor.

Our friends over at Budweiser Gardens in London, ON, sure know how to throw a kick ass party on a Saturday night. Invite Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year winner, Jason Aldean, to bring his Six String Circus Tour to town with Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses, throw in some local country artists, rocking the parking lot before the show, and you have yourself one heck of a tailgate party.

Jason Aldean brought his Six String Circus Tour to Ontario this weekend.  Hands down one of the best tours this spring with the likes of Big Machine recording artists Thomas Rhett & A Thousand Horses in tow.  

Yesterday we had a chance to hang out with Thomas Rhett to discuss what it was like playing Boots and Hearts last summer.  We also chatted about who inspires him and we may have asked what social media outlet he likes to use most.  Check it out below.
