Tokyo Police Club , Cancer Bats and a Memorial benefit for local musician Tyler Hay are just the start for a stacked April from the awesome crew over at Spectrasonic.
Earlier this month on a Sunday afternoon/evening, Ellen DeGeneres walked into Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. I had no idea what I was in for. Literally.
The place was packed. As I quickly realized, this crowd didn’t need any convincing. They were more than familiar with her than I was.
Winter does not want to quit but that’s not stopping the crew over at The Diamond Mine Agency from heating things up in town with some killer shows.

While in Ottawa with Paul Brandt’s “Journey Tour,” Canadian brother band High Valley joined Timeout with the Twins for a chat about remaining true to their roots, their journey becoming one of the most recognizable Canadian country musical acts and a creepy doll named “Saruh” that eerily appears on the “Journey Tour” performers’ tour buses.

Sing Out for CHEO takes place on Friday night at the Lone Star Loft, off of St. Laurent Ave in Ottawa. This year we decided to open up the stage to some fresh talent through an emerging artist competition. For the past few months we and a number of other judges have narrowed the field down to 3. The following three finalists will perform on the stage at the Lone Star Loft and one of them will be chosen to win the grand prize.
