Lindsay Broughton comes from the small town of Brooklin, Ontario and is one of Curve Music’s top artists. Nominated for female artist of the year in 2014, Lindsay has played major festivals all over the world and is heading into 2015 with a new record, a new single and a new video on the way.

We had a chance to chat with Charlie Worsham last week and for those who don’t know Charlie here is your chance to get to know one of the most talented individuals in music today.  

On Wednesday night we had the pleasure of attending the Guelph stop of Dallas Smith‘s Tippin’ Point Tour. Arrangements to interview the guys from Sundy Best in the afternoon but, life has a way of reminding us that sometimes, things are out of our control. First, Corey was unable to attend and that left me in the driver’s seat. We headed into Guelph arriving early for our scheduled time. This gave me time to do some research and put together some questions of my own for Kris and Nick. And then my phone rang. Getting a call from the tour manager, just before your scheduled interview time isn’t usually a good thing. But in this case, it was a quick call to let us know they were a little behind schedule, nothing more.

So, the hottest name in Canadian country music these days has to be Dallas Smith.

I had the opportunity to chat with Kris Bentley of Kentucky based Sundy Best.  Now I am going to assume seeing we have a pretty heavy Canadian readership that not everyone will have heard of Sundy Best.

The 159th Annual Spencerville Fair has arrived and they’ve got a weekend jam packed of activities and an entertainment lineup that is, once again, second to no other fair in Eastern Ontario.  We recently published our interview with Tebey who makes up half of Saturday’s entertainment lineup along with Dallas Smith, today we shift our focus to the roots of popular music as we know it with the Devin Cuddy band.
