It’s been a few weeks since we caught up with Jason but it feels like a lifetime ago now. Our conversation came mere days before a massive tornado ripped through Nashville, luckily Jason and his family and friends are ok but boy at the time we had no idea how much different the world would look a few months later. From Nashville being turned upside down by the tornado to a pandemic that would see sports and music events cancelled, borders closed and artists turning to live streaming to keep their fans engaged.
During the interview Jason and I discussed his annual fundraising Gala Concert and Golf Tournament, which sadly has been cancelled, for 2020, due to concerns surrounding COVID-19. We talked about his single “Drink Too Much”, his upcoming EP and, of course, upcoming performances. One of the big changes since we did the interview was the news of Jason’s return to eOne Music Canada.

Jason is scheduled to perform at Boots and Hearts this summer although at this time whether, or not, the festival will go on as scheduled remains to be seen. At the moment it’s still set to go as scheduled, naturally if there are any changes we’ll be posting full details on our website and social media.
Today is Jason Blaine’s 40th Birthday, we’d sing but no one wants to hear us sing…we’ll leave that to guys like Jason. Jason Happy Birthday, I know it wasn’t the 40th Birthday you had hoped for but take comfort in the fact that you and your family are healthy and that we have the technology to communicate with our loved ones who live far away!
