Yesterday it was announced that major radio stations across North America were dropping the classic “Baby It’s Cold Outside” from their rotations because it was deemed offensive.
Unfortunately it’s one of my favourite Christmas songs so I have to object by sharing this performance by Brett Eldredge and Meghan Trainor which aired as part of CMT’s Crossroads earlier this week.
We’ve become so politically correct in today’s society that it’s now starting to affect the music we listen to. If this trend is permitted to continue I’m terrified for the future of music, nothing will be allowed to be played on the air anymore out of fear it will offend someone.
