Midland, LOCASH, James Barker Band, The Washboard Union, Lindsay Ell & more will join headliners Florida Georgia Line, Alan Jackson and Thomas Rhett
TORONTO, Feb. 26, 2018 /CNW/ – Republic Live, producers of Boots and Hearts Music Festival, have released the full line-up for Canada’s largest camping and country music festival taking place from August 9-12 at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, Ontario.
The artists announced today include Midland, LOCASH, James Barker Band, The Washboard Union, Lindsay Ell, Russell Dickerson, Meghan Patrick, and Walker Hayes. They join previously announced headliners Florida Georgia Line, Alan Jackson, Thomas Rhett, Billy Currington, Dallas Smith and Brett Young.
“Boots and Hearts has grown into a must-attend festival since its launch in 2012 and we’re thrilled to announce the rest of this year’s artists. Fans come to Burl’s Creek for more than great music – they come for the “Boots Life” that emerges when 40,000 people come together. It’s about a sense of belonging you feel while dancing and singing to your favourite songs with the friends you came with, and the ones you just made,” said Lisa Zechmeister, Director of Booking and Development, Republic Live.
“We’ve worked hard to put together a world class line-up and we are also extremely proud that over half of our talent is comprised of Canadian artists for fans to discover. We like to be on the cutting edge of those up and coming artists; we know that today’s afternoon slot is tomorrow’s headliner, as we’ve seen with Chris Stapleton who played all four days as well as Sam Hunt (2014),” remarked Eva Dunford, co-founder of Boots and Hearts and Republic Live.
Spanning over 4 days with more than 40 artists, 60 hours of live entertainment, and many other attractions – including a spectacular LED Ferris Wheel and a 100 foot swing ride – Boots & Hearts is the largest country and camping music festival in Canada, providing fans with the greatest value for a festival experience of its kind.
“It’s extremely rare for a private festival producer to be the owner of a 600-acre parcel of land on which it plays – Republic Live is unique in that sense. It’s a pleasure to be a neighbour in this community and positively impact the local economy with the work that we do,” Dunford said.
Tickets for the 2018 festival are on-sale now; visit www.bootsandhearts.com for more information about artists, tickets, camping, and accommodations.
