We’re BACK! What a crazy couple of years it has been. The metal fans gathered in droves to pack the Budweiser Stage in Toronto recently. The Knotfest Roadshow always brings a healthy crowd to the waterfront venue and this year was no exception.

Easter Sunday wasn’t just about family diners and chocolate treats, it was about the re-birth of live music.
It was your typical Canadian spring day in Toronto, cold and wet. This however didn’t stop the music fans from lining up in front of the iconic Opera House venue hours before the show.
Hardcore Metal Heads gathered in droves at the Budweiser Stage in downtown Toronto last week to see the Knotfest Roadshow, featuring Slipknot along with supporting acts Behemoth, Gojira and Volbeat.

Big Sugar hosted a tribute show in memory of their long time bassist Garry Lowe, who passed away July 7 2018 after a 2 year battle with Cancer. When frontman Gordie Johnson put out some feelers with their musician friends, the response was overwhelming. Performers in attendance were Mark Holmes (Platinum Blonde), Danko Jones, Tom Wilson (Blackie and the Rodeo Kings), Chris Murphy (Sloan), Jag Tanna and Edwin (I Mother Earth), Tyler Stewart (Barenaked Ladies), Cody Bowles and Kevin Comeau (Crown Lands), The Road Hammers, Molly Johnson, Willi Williams, Bongo Gene, Dan Kurts (the New Deal), Leroy Sibbles, Carl Harvey, Julian Taylor (Staggered Crossing) Maestro Fresh Wes, Culture Shock, Dream Warriors, Bedouin SoundClash, and Adrian Miller. (I hope I didn’t miss anyone).

Co headliners Five Finger Death Punch and Breaking Benjamin along with supporting acts Nothing More and Bad Wolves performed at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto this week. It was a night that metalheads gathered to let out some steam and get their headbanging on. Yes me included!
