So I have been thinking about this one for awhile and it isn’t easy when you have 35+ artists spanning the course of 4 days of music. But I have managed to get my The Top 10 Must See Artists at Boots & Hearts this week narrowed down. These are artists that put on a hell of a show and usually have you begging for more.

The Lovelocks – Time After Time
The amazingly talented Lovelocks have covered one of my favourite tunes from the 80’s. Time After Time was originally written by Cyndi Lauper back in ’83. It has been covered on a few occasions but the production and arrangement on this one are pretty damn good. Be sure to head over and grab it HERE
Hangin’ With High Valley @ RTP
So a couple weeks back we had the chance to catch up with High Valley and ask the boys what having signed with Warner Music Nashville has done for them along with playing some pretty cool shows along the way.
Rockin’ in Hagersville
What do you do in the middle of rural Norfolk County on a summer night? You throw a party in a park that was once a gravel pit and you call it, “Hagersville Rocks”, and rock it did.
HOT Mid Summer Festival Recap…
So it has been a red hot summer thus far in terms of Festivals we have covered since June 1st. Not just hot shows but the weather has been smokin’ for most of them. I though I might take a shot at a mid summer festival recap and just do a quick review on where we have been so far in this jam filled summer of 2016.
Aaron Pritchett – Out of the Blue – Mason Jar Session
A couple weeks back we ventured deep into that woods to capture this fantastic Mason Jar Session with one of Canadas favourite country artists in Aaron Pritchett. Out of the Blue is currently available for down load on Aaron’s new album The Score. The album has a fantastic vibe and some killer tunes.
Hangin’ with Drake White
So a couple weeks back I had the chance to catch up with one of my favourite “Emerging Artists”. To be honest Drake White has been workin’ the clubs for awhile now but he is about to release his debut full length album Spark. Check out what Drake had to say about putting the new album together, and playing the festivals this summer. And don’t be shy, be sure to pre-order Spark HERE.
Stompin’ Ground – Tim Hicks
So Tim Hicks has just dropped a new summer smash with Stompin’ Ground.
Rock the Park, The Rest of the Story…
After two epic nights of country, Rock the Park shifted gears in Downtown London’s Harris Park. New for 2016 was Virgin Fest 2016, sponsored by 97.5 Virgin Radio, in London. Now, I need to be honest here and say this night’s line up was not one I was really keen on. The line up included local performer, Ria Mae, Canadian rapper Classified, Nelly, and Flo Rida. As a guy who listens to mainly country music and some rock thrown in there, this was bound to be an interesting night.
Zac Brown Band – I’ll Be Your Man
Check out this new video from the Zac Brown Band for their new single I’ll Be Your Man. The boys have really outdone themselves on this one. A very movie like video that spans a total of 8 min and 31 seconds. This mini movie draws you in and the performance by both the artists and the actors is phenomenal.
