This weekend we checked out the first ever Sundaze Music and Arts festival in beautiful Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Primarily know for the Cavendish Beach Music Festival, this is the first festival to be held on the island in recent memory that has not been a country festival. There were over 10 acts to take the stage over two days, including T-Pain, Cheat Codes and X Ambassadors. The entire weekend was full of music, art, sunshine and good vibes. Eric Church made for another Record Year at CBMF
It’s hard to believe it, but day 3 of Cavendish Beach Music Festival is upon us already! Sunday promised to be another day full of sunshine and country music at the beach, with acts like The Washboard Union and Eric Church taking the stage. Welcome to CBMF day 2, it was a wet one out there! Rain poured down during Chad Brownlee and Russell Dickerson’s sets, but that did keep the fans away! Day One of CBMF was Full of Sunshine and Whiskey
Back for its 11th year, the Cavendish Beach Music Festival is Atlantic Canada’s largest multi day outdoor music festival! This years festival is shaping up to be one of the best ever! With acts like High Valley, Chad Brownlee, Carrie Underwood and Eric Chruch taking the stage this weekend, it is sure to be an action packed weekend full of sun and country music! There Was Nothing Holding Shawn Mendes Back At CBMF

Day 4 of The Cavendish Beach Music Festival opened with a new comer to the Canadian music scene “new city”. New City is a electropop band who arrived on the Toronto music scene in 2017 with their hit “Coachella”. While performing at Cavendish Beach Music Fest, New City put on high energy performance, and it was clear they were absolutely loving every minute on stage.

Broods are a brother and sister duo who reside from Nelson, New Zealand. As soon as the duo took the stage, it was obvious the crowd was in for one of the most high energy shows of the weekend. The duo started off their set with “Conscious” and sister Georgia Nott took the stage by storm and used every inch of it in her spectacular set.

19 You + Me was the breakout song for duo Dan & Shay and they have taken the country world by storm every since. In January the duo released their latest hit single “Tequila” and to date it has been their highest charting single. At Cavendish Beach Music Festival, Dan & Shay preformed all their top hits, including 19 You + Me, From The Ground Up, and for the first time in Canadian soil, their hit Tequila. During their set, the duo showed off their range and huge musical talent.

Shawn Mendes is arguably one of the biggest stars to come from Canada in the last decade.
Mendes opened his set with “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” and the 13000+ fans at the Cavendish Beach Music Festival site we’re on their feet and screaming. Shawn was absolutely one of the most captivating acts that took the stage during the entire weekend. One of the most incredible facts about Shawn Mendes, is the he is a headliner at major festivals at only 19 years of age.
With that another year of Cavendish Beach Music Festival comes to an end. Stay tuned this fall for announcements on who will be headlining the festival next year.

Year 9 and Cavendish Beach Music Festival is Stronger Than Ever
Day 1 of CBMF (Cavendish Beach Music Festival) started with a typical beautiful day on PEI. A gentle breeze cooled down the air a bit which was most welcome at the concert. You could literally feel the excitement of the fans even walking in from the parking lot. You KNOW it is going to be a great show when that happens. The grounds were alive with fans which was great to see earlier on in the day. There were over 20 acts in total and unfortunately we could not take them all in.
