Saint-Agapit, November 19th 2025 – Festival Country Lotbinière (FCL) unveils a second major headliner for its 10th edition: Cole Swindell! This will mark the very first performance in the province of Quebec of the American artist who performs 20,000 capacity arenas all across the United States. Formerly head of merchandise for Luke Bryan, he wrote the popular songs Beer In The Headlight, Roller Coaster and This Is How We Rollfor him before launching his own career. The singer-songwriter has been well established in the country scene for over 10 years.

After revealing earlier this month that Jon Pardi would be headlining the Friday night stage, the festival’s founders are wasting no time in sharing more good news. The 10th anniversary of FCL is already expected to be its biggest edition yet with these two internationally renowned American country stars.

The Country music hitmaker released his fourth studio album, Stereotype, to massive success. The project charted three back-to-back, Platinum-certified, multi-week No. 1 hits: “Single Saturday Night”, “Never Say Never” (a duet with Lainey Wilson) and, most recently, his five-week chart-topper “She Had Me At Heads Carolina” has garnered three ACM Awards and an iHeart Music Award for Country Song of the Year. In 2022 Swindell spent a total of 27 weeks in the Top 5 of the country singles chart with “Never Say Never” (8 weeks) and “She Had Me At Heads Carolina” (21 weeks). In total, Cole Swindell has 13 #1 hits at country radio and over 5.2 billion streams globally.

In the past 10 years, Swindell has racked up an impressive 12 certified Platinum singles, a Platinum-certified debut album, a Platinum-certified sophomore effort and a Gold-certified third entry. His massive, GRAMMY-nominated hit “Break Up In The End” was named the 2019 NSAI Song of the Year. Swindell earned two nominations (Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year) for “Never Say Never” at the 56th CMA Awards.

The singer-songwriter recently unveiled Forever To Me, the first single from his new album coming in 2025 and we bet that it will have the crowds singing at the top of their lungs in St-Agapit! The 10th edition of the festival will undoubtedly be overflowing with new releases, but also hits that have already made their mark in country music history!

A third presale started!

Thousands of festival-goers have already confirmed their presence by taking advantage of the first two FCL pre-sales. The third is therefore officially underway. The 10th edition of the festival is highly anticipated and the organizers plan to welcome more than 50,000 participants from August 21 to 23, 2025. The complete program will be revealed in spring 2025.

Until then, tickets are on pre-sale at countrylotbiniere.com, with discounts of up to 35% off the regular price.

« We are proud to be the first to welcome Cole Swindell to Quebec! With over 20 million units sold in his career, he ranks among artists like Brooks & Dunn (22), Old Dominion (21.5) and Cody Johnson (17.5). He’s a regular at major galas like the CMA Awards, the ACM Awards and even the Grammys: more than a dozen nominations! Beyond the numbers, Cole Swindell knows how to deliver a good show with impressive audio-visual effects and a great presence on stage. But what inspires us the most is his journey. Going from merch manager for Luke Bryan to becoming a headliner is a story of perseverance and passion. It was this same determination that drove us at the start of FCL, when few people believed in our project in 2015. We, like Cole, believed in our vision and worked tirelessly to make it a reality. This parallel between our two journeys makes his presence with us even more symbolic. This will definitely be a show not to be missed in August 2025 at FCL! » – Guillaume Laflamme, cofounder – Festival Country Lotbinière
