WILDCARD VOTING OPENS ON FRIDAY, MAY 31

Republic Live, producers of the internationally acclaimed, multi-award-winning music festival Boots and Hearts, are thrilled to announce the top seven finalists and wildcard contestants for the 2024 Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase (EAS) presented by Coors Original. This marks an exciting moment for the artists; in addition to showcasing their talents on the Boots and Hearts stage, finalists will have the opportunity through RLive Management to engage with industry experts, fellow artists, and musicians, gaining invaluable insights into the music industry to help propel their careers to new heights. The winner will also have the opportunity to release a single with Universal Music Canada and perform at the 2025 Boots and Hearts Kick-Off Party.

2024 Emerging Artist Wildcard

The 2024 Boots and Hearts EAS Wildcard contestants are:

Beginning tomorrow until June 12th, fans can vote for their favourite wildcard artist to move forward to the final top eight at https://bootsandhearts.com/emergingartistshowcase/. The finalists will perform on the Front Porch stage on Thursday (8/8), where they will be judged by a panel of industry professionals. The selected final two will then perform on the Main Stage on Sunday (8/11), with the winner being announced thereafter.

Since 2012, EAS has highlighted some of the best talent in Canadian country music, providing a platform for artists to be discovered in front of one of country music’s largest audiences alongside industry heavy hitters at Burl’s Creek. Past winners and participants have achieved incredible success, including multiple award nominations and wins, record-breaking streams, chart-topping singles, and more. The contest has kick-started careers for many artists, including 2023’s winner Shantaia, who will perform at this year’s Kick-Off Party on Thursday (8/8), as well as other award-winning artists like Owen Riegling (2022), Josh Ross (2017), James Barker Band (2015), Tim Hicks (2012), and more.
