The Timmins Festivals and Events Committee has announced the eagerly awaited lineup for the upcoming Rock On the River Festival, set to ignite Hollinger Park on July 18th, 19th, and 20th, 2024.

“This year, we’re raising the bar and bringing an unprecedented level of talent to Timmins,” said the committee Chair John Olaveson. “We are incredibly excited to showcase such a stellar lineup of artists, promising an unforgettable experience for all attendees.”

Rock On the River Festival has become synonymous with outstanding entertainment and community spirit, and this year is no exception. With a diverse range of musical genres and family-friendly activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The festival will kick off on Thursday, July 18th, with a spectacular country night featuring performances by Canadian country music stars Dean Brody, Tim Hicks, and Eric Girard and the Travellers.

Friday, July 19th, will be dedicated to Classic Rock enthusiasts, headlined by none other than Bret Michaels! Bret Michaels – the multi-platinum music icon, reality TV superstar, creative entrepreneur and dedicated philanthropist – is considered a “cultural touchdown” by entertainment industry leaders. On July 19th, Michaels is bringing his record-breaking“ Parti-Gras” Tour with special guests Dee Snider from Twisted Sister and former Journey vocalist Steve Augeri. Joining them will be rock icons Lita Ford, Honeymoon Suite, and Ruuster.

Finally, on Saturday, July 20th, the festival will culminate in a high-energy Rock night, featuring electrifying performances by Live, Buckcherry, Danko Jones, and Puddy.

In addition to the incredible lineup of bands, the Timmins Festivals and Events Committee is proud to announce the return of the Fun Zone, offering a variety of family-friendly activities for all to enjoy at no cost. The Fun Zone also includes live local musical talent that will be performing throughout the Friday and Saturday.
