American stand-up comedian and YouTube comedy sensation Victor DiBitetto, recently visited Toronto to the delight of fans who packed the Danforth Music Hall for his only, and sold out, Canadian show.
DiBitetto makes little effort to hide his proud cultural heritage, with many dubbing him “The Italian Hurricane” because of his volatile yet scathingly hilarious public persona and we saw plenty of that during his show. His jokes were witty and relatable. He connected and interacted well with the Toronto audience over the course of his set and I was delighted to see that the public warmed to his talents more and more as the show went on.
I spoke with some members of the audience before the show, confirming that many mainly knew of him through his YouTube videos. I’m sure that many were entertained beyond their expectations with a clever and funny set that left me wanting for more.
Overall DiBitetto’s live comedic set at the Danforth Music Hall deserves an A rating, as well as the standing ovation that the public gave him for a job well done.
I can’t wait to see what he brings with him next time he comes for a visit.
