Luke Bryan. Need we say more?

The day started off with a set by The James Barker Band. After being rained on their last four stops, the James Barker Band was pretty excited to arrive at Cavendish Beach where the sun was shining and it was a nice 28 degrees. Frontman James Barker walked on stage signing their hit “It’s Working”. The Band put on an extremely fun and energetic set that included some of their own hits like “Chills” and also included covers of other country hits like “Sold” by John Michael Montgomery

Granger Smith arrived in stage singing “Gimme Something” from his Album When The Good Guys Win. After finishing the song, Granger looked out at the audience and said “Hi my names Granger Smith, thank y’all for coming and hanging out with me today” and the audience lost it in screaming. The rest of his set was very high energy and entertaining. Smith’s alter ego Earl Dibbles Jr. even made an appearance on stage to perform a song.

It’s a Sunday night, Day 3 of CBMF 2018 and it is a SOLD OUT crowd. The grounds are packed with 35000+ screaming fans waiting for Luke Bryan. The crowd was electric and it only escalated when Luke hit the stage. The screams were deafening as Luke started the set with “Country Girl (Shake it for me)”, “Huntin’ Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” and “I Don’t Want this Night to End”. The hits didn’t stop. Luke used the catwalk to get down and interact with the fans and they loved every minute. Part way through the performance Luke looked out at the audience and said, “Y’all been hiding this from me, PEI where you been all my life” The intensity and electrifying energy from both Luke and his fans never faltered. This was a performance at CBMF that will never be forgotten!

There is only one day left of Cavendish Beach Music Festival 2018, and that is #MendesMonday. We will have a full recap of Shawn Mendes, Broods, Dan & Shay and more for you coming tomorrow!
