If you were looking for a great sounding Mötley Crüe tribute band last Saturday night and were at John Street Pub The John Street Pub in Arnprior then you got exactly what you were looking for. I’ve been a Crüe fan since the beginning and really didn’t know what to expect but after the first song, Dr. Feelgood, they had my attention.  These guys looked and played the part and sounded just like the Crüe

The singer’s vocals were so close to the real Vince Neil that if you closed your eyes for a moment you could envision him standing in front.  Between songs he would interact with the crowd in his well known flamboyant way which was actually very entertaining.  If you had concerns about him hitting those high notes and screams that Vince would do – don’t. He hit those with ease. If the real Vince needed a fill in for a night this guy could pull it off.

The guitarist, as Mick Mars, played fast with his fingers and had perfect tone delivering those guitar riffs that made you want to bring out the air guitar right then and there.  Interesting enough he even portray that quiet demeanor that Mick had about himself. He absolutely nailed the solos using the same positioning and stance Mick could be seen using.  The bass player – what can I say about the bass player other than “is this the real Nikki”? Everything he did mirrored Nikki Sixx in so many ways. from the way he held and played the bass to how he stood and did backup vocals was bang on. Behind the guys up front was the beat, the hard hitting rhythmic sounds of the drummer. He fit right in as Tommy Lee – wild and entertaining.

This was purely an amazing show.  The atmosphere was right and the vibe and mood was just as you’d expect at a Mötley Crüe show.
