DUA LIPA SELF-TITLED TOUR ROCKS TORONTO

Pop brilliance was exploding with independent female empowerment. Dua Lipa brought Toronto melodies and deep smoky vocals, which had us shaking in our boots.

Opening up strong with crowd favorite “Hotter than Hell” had us grasping for more. This show was a sass-packed, honest, uncompromising storm.

Working the room, working with the crowd, working the stage, she brought a fire that hasn’t been inside Rebel Nightclub in ages. With a balance of sound and blood pumping energy. It was intoxicating to witness such a presence on stage.

Live shows that change you are few and far between and this relatively newer artist on the scene brought the crowd to its feet.

Dua Lipa, an English singer, songwriter, and model starting her career at the young age at 14. In 2015, she signed with Warner Music group, soon after releasing her first single. From 2015, Dua Lipa has broken through as a chart-climbing artist delivering stellar live performances.

This Self-titled tour provided an uninhibited, wild-at-heart with vibes. Channeling artists with the likes of BANKS and Lorde but provided a wholly unique experience that some artists fail to bring.

Closing with her hit “New Rules” Sending off the night with a bang. Bravo.
