We’ve told you about the incredible concert series slated for this year’s Grey Cup Festival in Ottawa but wait, there’s more. What’s a Grey Cup festival without parties? Well with 9 teams in the Canadian Football League from all across Canada it’s fitting that there’s a party for everyone.
The parties kick off on Thursday November 23 and there’s something for everyone.
Both the RNation Party, presented by Budweiser, and the Spirit of Edmonton kick off at 4pm on Thursday, Bomber House opens at 6pm and the Capital Pride Grey Cup Party kicks off at 7pm.
Thursday November 23
RNation Party
The RNation Party is a 3 day event featuring good food, great drinks and live entertainment in the Aberdeen Pavilion at TD Place. The event is $10 a night, but you can win a pair of tickets to each night by checking out our contest on social media right now!
Kicking off at 4pm on November 23 with featured Entertainment including performances by: IIveko, Kristi Lane Sinclair, Mélissa Ouimet, Le Groupe Swing
Spirit of Edmonton Party
Located at the Lowertown Brewery and Sens House at 73 York Street in the Byward Market, the Spirit of Edmonton event will feature Live entertainment every night on two stages AND duelling pianos, Esks cheer performances & a merch table. The party starts at 4pm on Thursday, November 23, 2pm on November 24 and 25th.
Bomber House
Bomber fans can head to the Eve Nightclub at 110 York Street for their Bomber House starting nightly at 6pm from Thursday November 23. Live bands, DJs, beer gardens, performances from the Blue Bombers Cheer Team, alumni appearances, and the loudest fans in the CFL!
Capital Pride Grey Cup Party
This event celebrates the close relationship between Canadian football and the rainbow community. It is an inclusive event for anyone who wishes to attend and will feature a mix of entertainment from DJs to live music – so mark the date in your calendar because this will be a party you won’t want to miss. The event is hosted and produced by Queer Mafia and kicks off at 7pm in the Horticulture Building at Lansdowne. Tickets for this event are just $10 get them here!
Friday November 24
Spirit of Edmonton and Bomber House continue on November 24 and are joined by a handful of new events.
Calgary Grey Cup Committee Pancake Breakfast
First up is the traditional Calgary Grey Cup Committee Pancake Breakfast.Whether the Calgary Stampeders are in the Grey Cup or not, the Calgary Grey Cup Committee knows how to throw a great party. Since that famous train ride from Calgary to Toronto in 1948, our volunteer group has been serving up western hospitality with our famous breakfasts and Stampede style entertainment. Visit them for a traditional pancake and sausage breakfast and while you are there meet their Mascot, Charlie Horse, the Calgary Stampede Queen, her two Princesses, the Indian Princess and live music courtesy of our band, High Steppin’ Daddy, who always keeps the party going! And best of all … the fun is free! The event starts at 11am on Friday and Saturday in the square of the Aberdeen Pavilion.
Touchdown Manitoba Party
The annual Winnipeg Blue Bombers team party Touchdown Manitoba is an event that sees a diverse group of attendees and fans from all CFL teams and features performances from various cheer teams, pep bands and mascots. Occupying a unique timeslot, it allows guests to mingle and kick off their Grey Cup weekend with entertainment and traditions unique to Manitoba and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Riderville
Join members of Rider Nation at their home away from home.
Known as the 13th Man, Saskatchewan Roughriders fans always make their presence felt at the Grey Cup Festival and this year will be no different. Riderville will be open for two nights (November 24 & 25) starting at noon each day as Roughriders fans and CFL fans enjoy great food and entertainment.
There will be a $10 cover charge at the door. Children will be allowed in for free with a parent from 12pm – 3pm each day.
Ticats Pigskin Pete’s Pub Crawl
For the first time in Grey Cup Festival history, the Tiger-Cats hoting a pub crawl at 4 locations!
Friday, Nov 24rd: Cornerstone Bar & Grill 3pm-10pm
Saturday, Nov 25th: Clocktower Elgin 11am-4pm & Bier Market 6pm-11pm
Sunday, Nov 26th: Senate on Bank – 1159 Bank St 1pm-5pm
Pigskin Pete’s Pub Crawl, presented by Coors Light, puts a Ticats twist on the well known ‘pub crawl’ theme, with stops in the ByWard Market, Elgin St., Sparks St. and Lansdowne from Friday night, right up until kick off on game day.
The three day event will feature unique giveaways at each stop, including official Pigskin Pete’s Pub Crawl commemorative gear and swag. Admission is free at all locations and fans can look forward to drink specials, appearances from Ticats players, alumni & cheerleaders, great prizes and much more.
Atlantic Schooners Grey Cup Down East Kitchen Party
If you’ve ever hung out with the Atlantic Schooners, you know, there’s no party like a kitchen party! It’s the 10th annual Grey Cup Down East Kitchen Party team party.
The Atlantic Schooners are a grassroots organization which brings CFL fans from across Canada a taste of the Maritimes. We are known as Canada’s un-official 10th CFL team and even though we don’t yet have an on the field performance, CFL fans will have to settle for our off-field performance every year at the Down East Kitchen Party.
Truly a Grey Cup Fan Favorite Party. This year we are featuring The MudMen, The Celtic Party Band, Lobster Rolls, Get Screeched In by Kissing the Cod and much more..Non Stop Fun. Seating for 600+ Tickets available at Ticketweb.ca $10.00
Lions Den
With festivities leading up to the 105th Grey Cup presented by Shaw in Ottawa kicking off this November, the BC Lions are excited to get the party started at the club’s annual Lions Den celebration!
This year’s event will be held over two highly-anticipated evenings: Friday, November 24th and Saturday, November 25th at the Great Canadian Cabin in Ottawa. – please note, this a special events venue and is not open to the general public.
Featuring the Leos’ trademark live entertainment and a meet-and-greet with some of your favorite Lions players, Lions Den also includes special performances by the Felions Dance Team and exclusive BC Lions merchandise available for purchase.
No cover!! Must be 19+
RNation Party Day 2
The RNation party continues on November 24 kicking off at noon at the Aberdeen Pavilion.
Live entertainment starts at 4pm and runs all night long with performances by Terence Jack, Anthony Roussel, Jimmy George, Dwayne Gretzky, and then popular DJs Friday Night Lights will keep the party going until 2am.
November 25
On top of all of the incredible events already underway November 25 adds two more party’s that are a must visit before the weekend is out.
The Shipyard at Grey Cup
Join the Toronto Argonauts for the all-new Argos Team Party. Special guests including Argos Players, Alumni and Argos Cheerleaders. Join us for surprise performers and more! The event kicks off at 7pm at The Barley Mow Bank St.
Montreal Huddle Party
Hosted annually by the Alouettes Cheerleaders in the Grey Cup host city, the Alouettes Huddle is the ultimate destination for Als fans and all CFL fans on the weekend of the big game.
This year’s party will be held at FlyBar on Rideau St in the heart of downtown Ottawa. Close to hotels and just a short bus or cab ride away from TD Place!
Join the Als’ cheerleaders and some special guests from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for this unique event featuring special performances from various CFL cheer teams and much more.

RNation Party Night 3
The RNation Party continues on Saturday with things kicking off at noon and live entertainment starting at 1:45pm. The final lineup includes performances by The Relative, Terence Jack, Pretty Archie, The Dudes, The Winston Band and Boogey the Beat.
