So the Sound of Music Festival in Burlington, Ontario announced the line up to the biggest FREE Music Festival in Canada.
When booking a festival like this we know it can’t be easy with so much great music its kind of like a kid in a candy shop for music lovers. Lets start off with the initial KICK OFF PARTY that is being held JUNE 11.
Now the Kick Off Party is a PAID event but when you take a look at this line up you really can’t go wrong for $60. With the likes of The Cult, Headstones, Glorious Sons, Pop Evil, The Watchmen, Silverstein & Chemical Burn all on the line its like $8 a band. Who can see the Cult for $8? Well you can at the big Kick Off party!
Lets get to the main festival line up now. This thing is LOADED this year. Seriously this is all FREE!
With Mother Mother, Soul Asylum, Jess Moskaluke & I Mother Earth headlining this years lineup hats off to the Program Director that booked this one. I have attended this festival over the last couple years and have caught artists like Fred Penner, Jason Blaine and Monster Truck to name a few. For a free festival I don’t think you could really ask for much more. Held at fantastic setting on the Burlington waterfront its a great way to Kick Off Summer be sure to check it out.
